Abstract
Agricultural development is essential for Tanzania's economic growth
and national development. This dissertation reviews the development
of agricultural documentation and information services, examines
factors that pose obstacles in the development process and looks at
the role and prospects of information technology, especially
microcomputers, in agricultural information management in Tanzania.
