Semi-structured and key-informant interviews, field observations and focus group discussions (FGDs) were used for data collection. This study observed that indigenous people had a bundle of IKS that significantly contributed to the management of biodiversity. The study also observed that neither the IKS nor the biodiversity con- servation methods can sustainably manage and use biodiversity: their combination would achieve more than either in their separation.
